Programme-Based Audit and Inspection Office The Programme-Based Audit and Inspection is the process that designed to add value from its department perspective for the achievement of organisational strategic objectives. It has one temporary case team that offers all kinds of auditing activities; permanent case team could only exist if it is tied to a single audit case. The temporary team is made up of several officers (from higher experts to junior officers), who can efficiently undertake various auditing tasks.
Major Activities The Programme-Based Audit and Inspection Office rounds its activities on the following audit programmes: · TB · HIV/AIDS · Mother and Child Health (MCH) & Health Extension Programme (HEP) · Malaria Government and others
Roles and Responsibilities · Provide quality and timely audit reports to customer and stakeholder, especially donors and NGOs, which allows them to verify their performance and achieve the desired outcomes. · Perform performance, financial and investigative audits on budgeted annual programmes of the entire Ministry’s core and supporting processes and provide reports for follow-up. · Collaborate with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Office in order to identify and assess possible risks. Further auditing steps or consultancy services will be provided should any irregularity or damages occur at any stage.
