 At the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations, which is being held at the United Nations Headquarters, the Minister of Health, Dr. Mekdes Daba; stated that Ethiopia is working to reduce the damage caused by drug-adapted bacteria.


Dr. Mekdes, who spoke at a forum of senior officials to advise on drug-adapted bacteria, stated that Ethiopia is committed to reducing the effects of drug-adapted bacteria and will strengthen awareness-raising activities, monitoring and research activities for this purpose. The minister emphasized that this global threat requires international cooperation.
