Dr. Faustin Engelbert Ndigulele has been elected as the next Director of the World Health Organization for Africa at the 74th African Forum of the World Health Organization in Brazzaville, Congo.


Dr. Faustin Engelbert Ndigulele, who competed as a representative of Tanzania, was elected as the next Director of the World Health Organization on the African continent by winning the majority of the votes cast by the member countries at the 74th World Health Organization forum in Congo Brazzaville.


The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Mekdes Daba, congratulated Dr. Faustin Engelbert Ndigulele for being appointed as the director of the African continent of the World Health Organization.


She also assured him that Ethiopia will work in cooperation with the World Health Organization and other stakeholders on the African continent to have a healthy and productive Africa.
