32 countries are participating in the African regular specialized discussion on health, nutrition, population and drug control is being held at the African Union conference hall

The theme of the conference was "Developing Health in Africa: Universal Health, Nutrition, Population, Drug Control, Crime Prevention and Education"; It is expected that they will approve a number of working documents related to health, nutrition, population and drug control in line with the African Development Agenda.

Ministers and delegations from 32 members attended the conference; Officials and experts from various African Union bodies and representatives of partner organizations were also present.

Ethiopia's State Minister of Health, Dr. Dereje Duguma, and other relevant officials and stakeholders are participating in the event.

Dr. Theodore Adhanom, Director General of the World Health Organization, gave an opening speech at the discussion. He said that Africa should work with focus and coordination in carrying out activities related to health, nutrition, population and drug control in line with the development agenda. The discussion continues today.
