The Ministry of Health in partnership with Ministry of Labour & Skills , as well as other key stakeholders and the Wafid Program is pleased to announce an accreditation process for Ethiopian Hospitals and medical centers. This initiative is designed to enhance the capacity of health facilities eligible to participate in the Wafid Program for Expatriate Workers Health Screening.
Following extensive discussions with Wafid representatives, a dedicated registration platform has been launched, allowing for a streamlined accreditation process. Eligible government and private health facilities across Ethiopia can now register to join this program. Facilities selected through this process will contribute to expatriate health screening services, upholding the highest standards of responsibility and accountability.
To support facilities in the application process, a link to the Wafid registration platform and a comprehensive manual with step-by-step guidelines are available. We encourage all eligible facilities to register promptly and ensure readiness to fulfill this essential role.
