During the handover ceremony, the Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadesse, said that Ethiopian nation defense force is making a significant contribution to the survival of the country and commended the Ethiopian Public Health Institute for their support to the country. she said the support includes 5 million birr and more than 200,000 birr worth of sheets, pajamas and sandals.
State Minister for Defense, Mrs. Martha Liwiji, on her part, said the health sector is making a significant contribution to the country during this difficult time and thanked the Ethiopian Institute of Public Health for the financial and in-kind support on behalf of the defense force.
Dr. Tsigereda Kifle, Director General of the Institute of Public Health, on her part, recalled that the institute has been making its own contribution since the start of the survival campaign and that this donation demonstrates our undivided support to the defense force. She further added that the support will be strengthened and continued in the future as well.
