Ministry of Health handed over houses to low-income residents of Aleta Wondo town

State Minister of Health, Dr. Dereje Duguma, handed over houses built for six low-income households in Aleta Wondo town through the Kiremt Welfare Service. He recalled that the Ministry of Health has been involved in planting trees and assisting the weak through the Kiremt Welfare Service and added that exemplary work has also been done in Aleta Wondo town. He said, the houses are equipped with basic necessities and that the support will be continued.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and said that the lack of shelter had made life difficult for them, and that the Ministry of Health has given them hope by providing the houses.

In connection with this, the state minister visited the health center and school, including the Aleta Wondo Hospital, and toured the work done to prevent tropical diseases. He said the health facilities are working hard to prevent and control tropical diseases, especially in personal and environmental hygiene, treatment and rehabilitation areas of tropical disease management. He has also provided work directions to strengthen and continue the progress.
